Our Commitment to Privacy
At MyEex.com your privacy is very important to us. We don’t like nosey people so we’ll do our best not to be nosey and safeguard any information you may pass on to us. This notice explains how we treat the information you provide to us and what we are doing to maintain your privacy. To make this information easy to find, we make our Privacy Policy available on our Home Page.
Information We Collect
MyEex.com collects information necessary to measure, calculate and certify your carbon reductions and determine compliance with MyEex Site Rules. Some of the information is required to certify your credits to internationally recognized standards. You may also request MyEex to access your consumption data from your utility accounts. To do that, you will provide MyEex with your account access information and authorization to use it. This Privacy Policy applies only to MyEex.com, if you use links to visit other sites you will covered by their privacy policies which may have different practices.
You are responsible for personal information you choose to disclose in a blog, forum, or discussion group.
How We Use this Information The information we collect is used for the purpose of advising you about events, activities and new features at MyEex.com. We use non-identifying and summarized data to improve the design of MyEex.com and to advise advertisers about the members of MyEex.com. For example we may tell an advertiser the % of visitors who visit MyEex.com and then actually sign up or how many people visit a certain part of the website. (We may succumb to the temptation to fluff up our numbers!) MyEex.com will not disclose, rent, sell or share personal information about you with other people or unaffiliated companies except when providing information to trusted partners who work on behalf of MyEex.com for the purpose of improving MyEex.com or when required to do so in a legal process. (Hopefully, no bad guys sue us so there won’t be any reason for boring legal proceedings.)
MyEex.com does not use cookies at this time but may adopt their use in the future, if it improves our service. We will advise you of that change if it occurs.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use of information, MyEex.com has put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information that is collected online. (We also plan to post our pets in front of our offices. One particularly ferocious dog, Buster, will scare any mean guy away.)
How to Remove Your E-mail from Our Mailing List You can choose to remove your e-mail address from our list by responding to the link you receive in a MyEex.com E-mail or by following the opt out procedure from the MyEex.com Home Page. (Please do this only as a last resort and put up with any moronic emails you may get from us. They can only get better with time, right?)
